http://www.wildworldofplants.com
This two-part workshop begins with a plant energy attunement exercise. Each participant will collect a sample (perhaps a leaf or several leaves) from a plant or tree and use it for attunement purposes. There will be time for discussion after the exercise.
The second part of the workshop focuses on plant medicines in story and legend.
I call this the romance of plants, because such stories intrigue and fascinate
us, nourishing the spirit and the whole person. The story I will read is
called, "In Pursuit of the Medicine Bird". It's a short story I've written
about the legendary Mi'kmaq medicine plant, the mededeskooi, or "rattling
plant," and the bird, the cooasoonech, "a bird dwelling in old logs".
