Membership
HANS Annual Membership runs from July 1 to June 30 each year.
HANS General Membership $25.00
HANS Practitioner Membership $100.00
Each member upon joining will receive a membership card and information brochure.

General Membership benefits include:

Belong to a like minded community
Support the flourishment of herbs and herbal medicine in Nova Scotia
Receive information about herbal-related offerings, upcoming events, & classes via HANS list-serve
Receive reduced rates on some HANS sponsored events, such as the Herb Fair and professional development seminars
Opportunity to advertise your business or services on the website, listserve and at various events (small fee).
May stand for nomination to the Board of Directors
May volunteer for a HANS committee or project
Full voting rights at the Annual General Meeting

Practicioner Members are those members that offer clinical services to the general public as a Herbalist and choose to obtain membership with HANS as a Practicioner member. Benefits include those for all members plus...

May participate in decision-making about standards, scope of practice, and disciplinary procedures for professional herbalists in Nova Scotia.
May list service on the "Practitioner & Growers Map" on the website.
