HANS Annual Membership runs from July 1 to June 30 each
year.

HANS Practitioner Membership
$100.00
Each member upon joining will receive a membership card and
information brochure.
General Membership benefits include:
- Belong to a like minded community
- Support the flourishment of herbs and herbal medicine in Nova Scotia
- Receive information about herbal-related offerings, upcoming events, & classes via HANS list-serve
- Receive reduced rates on some HANS sponsored events, such as the Herb Fair and professional development seminars
- Opportunity to advertise your business or services on the website, listserve and at various events (small fee).
- May stand for nomination to the Board of Directors after 1 year in good standing
- May volunteer for a HANS committee or project
- Full voting rights at the Annual General Meeting

Professional Membership benefits include:
Practicioner Members are those members that offer clinical services to the general public as a Herbalist and choose to obtain membership with HANS as a Practicioner member. Benefits include those for all members plus...
- May display services at HANS selected events
- May participate in decision-making about standards, scope of practice, and disciplinary procedures for professional herbalists in Nova Scotia.
- List service on the Practitioner listing on the website.
