She is the owner of From the Ground Up Botanicals and offers herbal consultations, medicinal and culinary garden design services, customized herbal remedies and herb workshops. In partnership with the Tatamagouche Centre, Trudy is the initiator and co-ordinator of the Living Traditions Herb Garden: Celebrating Peoples and Plants, now being developed on the grounds of the Tatamagouche Centre in Tatamagouche NS.
