Magic Potions and Amulet Making

The Herbalist association of Nova Scotia (HANS) is happy to host their third annual celebration of the witchy season. Please join us for stories, potion sampling, and amulet making!

This Seasonal Plant Medicine Circle is free to HANS members, by donation for non-members – or better yet, join HANS at the event, only $25 for annual membership!

Potion Sharing
Bring a potion to include at the Elixir Bar, snacks for sharing, and witchy tales to tell.
We’ll have some great stories and seasonal tea to help wash them down!

Amulet Making
Michelle will guide us through making a bottled amulet charm to keep under our pillows or in a special place for working with ancestors, spirits or deceased loved ones. We’ll be providing the supplies, but if you have a meaningful token to attach or include, bring it along!

Dress Up!
Wear your best witch costume. Witches of all ages welcome.

A HANS Seasonal Plant Medicine Circle

Wednesday, October 29, 7-8:30 p.m.
Dismantling, understanding and re-creating the “magickal” formulas of early herblore.

Many of the herbs in these old formulas contained poisonous and psychotropic plants, as well as an element of mystery and magic.
Bring such a recipe to share, old or new.
We will prepare a Samhain elixir.

Hosted by medical herbalist Savayda Jarone
