and Wellness
Experience
In this walk, we will
explore the wild world of plants and trees, their medicines, and their
energetic interaction with us. Always an experiential medicine walk, we
will learn simple but powerful nature awareness exercises, to enhance your
energetic and sensory connection to the plants, trees, their medicines,
mother earth and mother nature. Good medicine always!

nutrition and Tellington Touch, with a demonstration on her dog assistant,

Plant Spirit
Medicine
This year Michele will
lead a session on Plant Spirit Medicine, in the form of Flower Essences.
Our group will explore connecting to plant energies
and transfer them into healing elixirs. Participants will
communicate with flower spirits and exchange healing gifts from them. This
interactive process is joyful skill to learn and practice for the highest
good of all beings.

plants easily found locally for household first aid. She will bring
some examples of medicine herbs for identification and demonstrate how to
use them in a first aid kit.

on topical first aid or dermatitis. We'll get covered in herbs and
then follow the reaction as it ripples throughout the body, mind and quite

Mi'kmaq Medicines: Personal Reflections In this workshop, Jill draws on her
family background and personal experiences, to reflect on the importance
of plant and tree medicines in Mi'kmaq culture. She will talk about the
ceremonial medicines, and several other plants and trees that are
important to the Acadia First Nation and the Mi'kmaq healing
tradition.

Dyeing with Mushrooms Basma will demonstrate how to dye
natural fibers with mushrooms. This demo and discussion will include an
introduction to dye-mushroom families; a short history of natural dyeing,
in particular, the history of mushroom dyes; dye methods, preparation and
examples; and discussion of bio-prospecting for dye mushrooms. A basic
"how-to" book on mushroom dyeing will be available for sale.

Plant Walk - Forest
Gardening Jayme will lead a plant walk with the
perspective of Forest Gardening. We will wander through the
woods, identifying plants, looking at ecosystem patches, and talking about
how we can garden the forest, and develop little medicine 'forests' in our
gardens.
